1. Overview
CredJob (credjob.com) is a free job aggregation platform operated by SalilLabs. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is used. CredJob does not require registration or login — you can browse and apply without creating an account.
2. Data We Collect
Anonymous Visitor ID
We generate a random ID stored in your browser's localStorage to count unique visitors. This ID is not linked to any personal information and cannot identify you. It is used solely to display aggregate visitor counts on the site.
Job Application Clicks
When you click an “Apply” button, we record that an application was initiated (using your anonymous visitor ID and the job URL). We do not track what happens on the employer's site after you click.
Campaign & traffic data (UTM)
When you arrive via a marketing or referral link, we store standard campaign parameters from the URL (source, medium, campaign, term, content), the landing page, and the referring site. We also record device type, browser, operating system, and country (from CDN headers). If you are signed in, the session may be associated with your account type (job seeker or employer) so we can see which channels bring which kinds of users. Click IDs (gclid, fbclid) are used only to classify paid traffic and are not stored.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and PostHog to understand page performance and usage patterns. These tools collect anonymised data such as page views, device type, and region.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Data We Do Not Collect

- ✓ Your resume or application documents
- ✓ Your location beyond country/region level (via analytics)
- ✓ Any data from employer sites you visit after clicking Apply
4. Job Listings
Job listings on CredJob are aggregated from third-party sources including LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, and other platforms. We do not store or process any personal data submitted through employer application forms. Always review the privacy policy of the employer's site before submitting your application.
5. Cookies
CredJob itself does not set cookies. However, Google AdSense and Vercel Analytics may set cookies on your device for advertising and analytics purposes. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
6. Data Retention
Anonymous visitor IDs, traffic sessions (including UTM campaign data), and job click records are retained indefinitely. Job listings are automatically purged after 14 days.
7. Third-Party Links
CredJob links to external employer websites and job portals. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of CredJob after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
